"A.M.S. Cuppini" (A.M.S. stands for Accessori Moto Scooter), a company owned by the brothers Giancarlo and Renato Cuppini, went into business in 1954 - when the only scooters in Italy were the "Vespa" and "Lambretta" - and launched the production of accessories, linking its fortunes to the history of these "legendary" vehicles.
Over the years, production has expanded to cover the entire sector of two-wheelers, with accessories for bicycles and motorbikes and in particular windshields for motorbikes and scooters.

In 1996 the company merged with "Parimor" (a leader in Italy and Europe in the manufacture of anti-turbulence deflectors for autos, specialized in the computerized processing of methacrylate). The new company took the name of "Parimor A.M.S. Cuppini srl". The input from "Parimor" has given a strong boost to the production of windshields for all types of scooters, without affecting, however, the manufacture of accessories for vintage "Vespas" and "Lambrettas" and today’s scooters.
